Think about the manners that we use at home and at school. which ones do you think are the most important ones? Are these manners the same as the ones that mum or dad think are important?

We should use our manners all the time.At home and at school.I think we should always use "Thank-you" and "please". We could also say "sorry" and if you sneeze I would say "bless you".One more I would use alot is "excuse me". My mum thinks that these manners are the important ones too.Thanks Mrs O for something interesting to think about...Felicity
I think please and thankyou are important because they show respect. When you say please, it makes people think you are a nice person and they are happier to help you. When you say thankyou, it shows them that you appreciate them. Mum and Dad always like to hear me using these manners too. Damian

I think that manners are important because they respect others especially me.The maners that i like best are please and thankyous.I them because they respect everyone.Danielle.
I think the most important manners are when you go in a classroom you knock before you come in and I also think that when you hurt someone you have to say sorry.
I think PLEASE is important because when you ask for something you are respecting them. Also by saying THANKYOU you are appreciating what they give you. We should always use our manners where ever we go. Its the polite thing to do.
I think manners means sharing with my friends and brother and sister. Listening to my teacher and mum when they are talking. I always try my best to say please and thank you.
Manners are VERY important. When you are at someones house it is very polite to say Please and Thankyou. Do not yell when you are talking to someone because that is very rude. If you accidentally Knock someone over it would be nice to say sorry but not saying anything would not be very good. Saying VERY nice things about others is also very good manners, saying bad things about someone is very rude and that is not showing that you have very bad manners. When you have manners its respecting others and yourself. Also when you have good manners its showing that you are a nice person. We should have manners every where we go. By Olivia Ce Year 6

My Mum and Dad think that ALL manners are important as well. Especially to Adults. Showing Respect to everyone is also a very important thing to remember. If we remember manners and respect then we will always have lots of friends.
I really like it when felicity asks for something and says please,it makes me think that she will appreciate it after I give it to her.Also it is just great practise for the future that she learns about manners,it is something that will stay with her always.Thanks Ms Owen and Ms Adam

ReplyDeleteToday is Tuesday 5th October and I flew from Las Vegas to San Francisco with my family. It was a 1 hour flight.
