Young Scientists!

It has been great to see Year 2 putting so much effort into the science task the last couple of weeks! Discussing the experiments in class created so much excitement that we thought it would be a great idea to share our experiments on the blog.  Science is all about discussion, predicting and experimentation. We thought it would be a great idea to give families this opportunity over the holidays to witness the children's enthusiasm!
The blog will stay open over the holidays and into the new year. Feel free to post any discussions or any experiments that you try!

Bike Safety!

Think about the the safety rules that you learnt on the year 2 excursion, or perhaps learnt from your family. Write some ways that you can keep yourself safe or ways that you have kept yourself safe over the holidays.

Nice Words or No Words.

"To have good friends, you must be a good friend." Parents and children are invited to talk about the importance of being a good friend. Write some comments about your discussions and what are the important things to remember and do when being a good friend.

Year One Spelling Resources

In class Year One will be using Spelling City and PowerPoints to support the learning of Spelling words. Both of which you can use at home. Below is a direct link to the find-a- schools page for Spelling City (Just select our school from the list.
